This evening we hiked at Pigeon Creek Park. It's hard to believe that 2 months ago we were sledding at this same place.

Today was even nicer than yesterday - it was 65º at Rosy Mound Natural Area:

We went to the beach for the first time this year. At Kirk Park it was about 45º down by the water.

Top-O-The-Mornin'

Holland's St. Patrick's day parade was held today. It was about 20 minutes long, a nice contrast to the 2 hour long Tulip Time parades (especially when it's 40º out). Interesting fact: 8th Street (the main downtown thoroughfare) is one-way, and this parade is run the wrong direction! Plus they hand out candy, which is strictly forbidden at Tulip Time.
