Autumn Fun

Gull Meadow Farms has lots of fun Fall activities. There's a 40' tunnel slide and ground trampoline:

Early candy

Once again Grandma and Grandpa Pestun took us to the Zoo Boo at the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek:

Yet another hike

Today's hike was at the Sanctuary Woods Preserve in Laketown Township. The first thing you have to do is climb about 250 steps up the dune:


Then we hiked around the forest at the the top of the dune and collected acorns. There's a nice view of Holland Harbor and Lake Michigan:


We went off the path a bit and found an old water tower that had fallen down. We ended up in a neighborhood and had to walk back down the road a bit to our car:

Rainy day games

Fall weekend at Bear Lake

We spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Parks on Bear Lake. Andrew drove the boat:

September Beach Day

We went to the Rosy Mound Natural Area near Grand Haven and made the ¾ mile hike to the beach for a picnic lunch.
